Dates apply to direct deposit. Cheque payments can take a few extra business days. Confirm your own payment status at canada.ca or in CRA My Account.

Why Is My CCB Late or Missing?

Most missing payments come down to one of three things.

A tax return wasn't filed or assessed. The CCB is recalculated every July using the previous year's tax returns for you and your spouse or partner. If either return is missing, payments can stop starting in July.

Your family situation changed. A change in custody, a new partner, or a separation can pause payments while the CRA reviews your file.

Your banking details changed. If you switched banks, update your direct deposit in CRA My Account.

Wait five business days after the payment date, then check CRA My Account or call the CRA.
